most people ask us
How does it work?
Using the Rogervoice app on your smartphone, call any number. A professional interpreter will pick up the call and translate the call between you and your contact, in sign language or cued speech.
How much does it cost?
It's free! How is that possible? It's a requirement under French law. Your carrier offers you 3 hours of communication per month (this will increase to 5 hours in 2026). When your calling credit is spent, your credits will be renewed the following month.
When can I call?
The French telecom relay service (TRS) is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am til 9pm & saturday from 8:30am til 1pm (excluding holidays). And will operate 24/7 by 2026. Rogervoice's mission is to ensure that you have the best possible experience.
Who are our interpreters?
Our sign-language interpreters all hold certified degrees and are trained for video-relay service. They are bound to a professional code of ethics. Your conversations remain totally private and confidential. You're in good hands!
Can I receive calls?
That's right. We create a Rogervoice number for you that you can provide to your family, colleagues, for deliveries, etc. When you are called on this number, the Rogervoice application answers.
Who are the partner operators?
The carriers belonging to the French Telecoms Federation are our partners: Bouygues Telecom, SFR, Orange, La Poste Mobile, Crédit Mutuel Mobile, NRJ Mobile, Auchan Telecom, Cdiscount Mobile, CIC Mobile.
